A cat window perch for bird reports, and something to bat at when the birds clock off. Made for the indoor cat whose main job is staring outside and narrating what they see.

What's in the box

• Suction-cup cat window hammock: sticks to a window so they get their own seat with a view. 55 × 35 cm, 2.5 cm thick, Oxford cloth over a plastic-steel wire frame, hung from 56 cm ropes. The suction cups need smooth, clean glass.
• 4-level cat track tower toy: four stacked tracks with rolling balls to swat at between shifts. PP plastic with smooth, polished track edges and a non-slip base. Colour: Bud Green.

Good to know

• The hammock's suction cups won't hold on textured glass, screens or painted frames. Clean the glass first, and re-press the cups now and then.
• Check the hammock is firmly attached before your cat uses it, and re-check it now and then.
• Supervise play with any small loose parts.
• Fair warning: they may still prefer the box it arrives in. That's a cat thing, not a us thing.
